Joe Henderson- The Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim. The first half has Joe Henderson playing with Brazillians: Oscar Castro-Neves on guitar (and some percussion), Eliane Elias on piano, Rico Assumpcao on bass, and Paulo Braga on drums. Next he plays with Americans: Christian McBride on bass, Jack DeJohnette on drums, and Herbie Hancock on piano. Hence "double rainbow" The groove that it kicks off with is great and I like the entire album.

Outpost Freddie Hubbard- this album tells a story. The rhythm section is tight with a relaxed groove. Track 4, Dual Force, is my favorite.


Mulatos (Omar Sosa)- I saw Sosa live and really enjoyed his performance. After buying three of his CD's, this one is my favorite. You can get it for less on omarsosa.com and give him a bigger cut
