Poll! Your mouthpiece makes a huge difference in your sound. More than the saxophone itself in some cases. But a good mouthpiece alone isn’t going to make you sound good.

I used to play an Ottolink, Now I play a Berg-Larson which makes for ease of playing for me. I just bought a Guardala Super King Tenor mouthpiece that I can’t wait to start experimenting with.
