Here’s a video to walk you through it also,

(This was recorded with a private student of mine)
Second, Leave a comment about your sound on Day 1, playing sax. There is a comment form at the bottom of the page. You will very likely see that your experience playing saxophone in the beginning is very similar to many others! Check out the page to see what I mean.
It is a misconception that some people sound great on the first day. A person who played clarinet or flute first will have an advantage, but learning to play saxophone requires practice from everyone who begins to play.
Third, read the page about taking action with the saxophone and leave a comment.
You get better at playing the saxophone by taking action. Very specific action.
Practice makes permanent, you can also perfect playing incorrectly.
