How to play the Tetris Theme on saxophone. The real name is Korobeyniki, it’s a Russian melody.
Decided to figure out how to play this one day. It’s a piece of music I heard a long time ago. Turns out it’s not too hard to play harmonically.
The first part is a range of five notes. From the first note you play, that interval is going down by a fourth. Was working through it in multiple keys which can be a good exercise for your ear.

Been following your site for a few months now. At 75, I dug out my Selmer Alto and started practicing after 55 years. Never took a lesson on the Sax, but studied classical Clarinet and actually had a band. I took a few lessons to get the fingering on the sax down.
I am also afraid that this may be for beginners. (is it too much to ask to display the line for the songs – i.e. the bagpipe song?)

I don’t have written music for the bagpipe song, learned it by ear at a music class from Paul Contos. Never thought to write it down.
I think it’s also good to get away from relying on sheet music all the time. Sometimes you definitely want to use sheet music, but you don’t want to not be able to play anything if you don’t have sheet music.
