If you know who Fela Kuti is, cool. If not, he was very influential with his music and active in African politics and is a pretty fascinating person. He started the ‘afrobeat’ style. ‘Water Get No Enemy’ is a song of his I like and that has been popular.

Starting with the opening horn riff. It’s three notes, that part should be pretty easy to get. Might do a couple more lessons with some of the later parts.

For the long notes, play them the full length and the last part of this first riff has the note held longer than the other parts.
