How to do Saxophone altissimo glissando. From the guys at Digital Pill.
To do this, you’ll need to be decently experienced with altissimo on saxophone.
This is a fairly advanced saxophone technique! So if you have only been playing for a little while, it should not be your biggest concern.

Hi Dane,
This is terrific- what prompted me to look for a site like this was a recording I just heard in the tenor player Jonathan Doyle hits a glissando right about 1:54 on this recording: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0LBUfJQfMdQ
He’s starting on his C#, but I can’t determine if he’s starting right with harmonics or not-
It made me want to be able to do that, and I didn’t think to do it via harmonics. Now I need to practice! I find the 2nd harmonics when I get to the C and C# with octave key a little tough, but I’ll get it. Thanks so much! Chris
