There are a number of cool sax websites out there.
Charles McNeal is a great sax player and a big part of the reason he sounds so good is that he has transcribed a ton of saxophone solos. He shares many of those transcriptions on his site. But of course reading the transcriptions will not help as much as transcribing them yourself.
Bret Pimentel has a useful site with things like a finger diagram builder.
Storm Horn is about saxophone, jazz and storms. Bob also put together a book on playing Coltrane’s Giant Steps.
Doron has some useful and thought out posts on his site.
A former teacher, Todd Clicker got a Brancher curved soprano at SaxQuest and has really liked the horn. They suggested a mouthpiece and reed that worked really well with it too.
The biggest forum about saxophone is SaxontheWeb, so if you have a question, it might be discussed over there.
There are a few saxophone groups on facebook, a couple are invite-only.
Sax Station is on facebook too.
