Question:

Where can I find a book or website (really anyplace) that shows ABSOLUTELY every scale.  for example….enigmatic, altered,  neopolitan,  hungarian,  ukranian,  phygrian.

Probably the most comprehensive book is by Slonimsky. The thesaurus of scales and melodic patterns.

John Coltrane among others learned some things from this book.

If you don’t yet know your major scales, it’s not necessarily something you need right now. But if you know your major scales, minor scales, diminished scales, pentatonic scales, blues scales, and whole tone scales already and want more options for color with your note choices, it could be useful.
