The form on this melody basically has two parts. First note is a concert G, so A on tenor and E on alto. I have seen some covers where it is played higher on alto, I listened to a live recording of Paul McCartney and played it in a range more like he did.

About the clef used for saxophones. You use the bass clef for the left hand on piano and for bass and trombone. You might think you would use it for bass saxophone as well, it gets below the trombone in terms of range.

On soprano/tenor sax, the first notes go between B and C. Much like one of the transitions in the Lindeman Method.
Easy to have schmutz between those notes.
