Hi, I tried following the video fingering with my soprano Saxophone and realised that my saxophone wasn’t giving me the same sounds as what I was hearing from the video. Could the instrument be faulty?
Also, what is the transposition of the soprano saxophone?
You’re probably out of tune. Check with a tuner.
Offhand, I would say to push your mouthpiece in more.
Bb instruments like the soprano sax read notes up a whole step from concert.
